Primark does not offer online delivery, much to the dismay of customers, but we’re getting a step closer with the launch of a trial click-and-collect service.
It comes after the retailer, which has more than 200 stores in the UK launched a new website earlier this year.
Primark UK retail director Kari Rodgers said: “We’re thrilled that customers across North-West England, parts of Yorkshire, and North Wales, will soon be the first in the country to get the chance to try out our new Click + Collect offer.”
Here’s everything you need to know about the retailer’s new service.
What is Primark Click + Collect?
Primark is trialling a chance to shop an exclusive range of around 2,000 items under a Click + Collect service.
Only children’s toys, kidswear, and nursery items will be included. Consequently, you won’t be able to place an order for other product lines —like womenswear and home goods — and pick it up later.
Customers can shop online, select their chosen collection day, and then pick up their purchases from one of the participating retailers.
There won’t be a fee for shoppers wanting to use the click-and-collect service, but you have to spend a minimum of £15 to qualify.
When is Primark launching Click + Collect?
Primark has officially launched its click-and-collect trial today (November 14).
It’s the first time Primark is giving customers the option to purchase items online and pick them up later at a designated collection point in the shop of their choice.
