Primark's 'beautiful' £24 boots are almost identical to £530 designer version

Budget retailer Primark is selling a new pair of boots which look very similar to ones sold by a designer brand - but for around £500 cheaper.

Primark , which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less. This time around, the retailer is selling a pair of heeled boots which are very similar to a pair by Italian shoes label Paris Texas, which are priced at £530 online.

Primark took to its Instagram feed this week to share a photo of its new boots, which feature a similar design to Paris Texas’ croc-effect leather knee-high boots. The bargain retailer's boots are similar in colour, have a pointed toe and also have a leather, crocodile-effect design.

While Primark doesn't offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they're in stock before heading into stores to purchase them. The £24 boots are in stores this week. You can find the Paris Texas version here .

Sharing the new product to social media fans, Primark said: “These boots are everything. Landing in store this week. Boots £24/€26/$28 #Primark #NewIn”. The post racked up more than 6,000 likes in less than 24 hours.

Beneath the photo, Primark shoppers praised the boots. One said: "Autumn vibes” and a second wrote: “I love these”. A third added: “You’re killing it @primark” and a fourth excited shopper said: “NEED!” A fifth wrote: “I need them”.

A sixth shopper said: “Want these”. Another added: “These boots are beautiful.” Shoppers could save themselves around £506 by opting for the Primark dupe. Find your nearest Primark store here .
