As warmer weather begins to brighten up the days in Nottingham, it's time to ditch the winter jackets for the season and embrace the shacket. You can find Primark’s ‘chic’ Workwear Denim Shacket on the rails for just £20 - and it’s been described as a dead ringer of designer label Valentino's £1,350 version.
The denim shacket which can be picked in the budget retailer is definitely a Spring/Summer wardrobe essential. The £20 shacket is described online as “soft utility meets effortless style in this essential denim shacket,” and has even been compared to Italian fashion brand Valentino’s Large VLOGO Signature denim shirt.
The cheaper version is further described by Primark as “another layer to live in has just landed with this soft and chic denim shacket", Manchester Evening News reports. “Crafted from lightweight denim, this signature workwear style jacket is constructed with all of the features you love on a shirt, including a classic collar, yoke back and long sleeves with buttoned cuffs, while the button-down front is completed with four pockets.
“The overall fit of this shacket is relaxed and slightly oversized, which makes it perfect for layering over your favourite knitwear and tees.” While the Primark one has a slightly oversize fit, the major fashion label’s denim shirt is a regular fit and features a V logo on the back of it.
If you’re not feeling the blue denim, the great news is it comes in two other colours - Camouflage and Stone.
