The coronation of King Charles III is taking place across the weekend with three days full of activities to mark the occasion. The official coronation will take place on Saturday, May 6 with the ceremony held at Westminster Abbey at 11am with around 2,000 invited guests in attendance.
A Coronation Concert will take place in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Sunday, May 7, with acts set to perform including Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Take That. Brits are being encouraged to hold street parties over the weekend to celebrate the special event, with an extra Bank Holiday taking place on Monday, May 8.
Those who are looking to get their fashion fix across the weekend and head out shopping in Manchester may be wondering if stores such as Primark will be open over the Bank Holiday weekend.

There are two Primark stores in Greater Manchester, one in Manchester and one in Trafford, each which have different opening and closing times. You can check the opening hours of your nearest store here.
