The Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain are set to launch new podcast Extraordinary People, which explores inspiring real-life stories and emotional chats.
Carol Vorderman will be hosting the podcast as she's joined by a number of celebrities alongside a number of Pride of Britain's remarkable winners.
Among stars lined up to chat to Carol include Katie Piper, Ben Shephard, Oti Mabuse and Robert Rinder.
Child of Courage winners Jake Peach and Nikki Christou, Special Recognition winner Margaret Aspinall and Prince's Trust Award winner Gina Moffat will also be sitting down with the host.
"One of the things I love about Pride of Britain is the amazing people I get to meet and learning about their extraordinary lives," Carol says. "Our new podcast is a chance to really get to know the Pride of Britain family, from winners to celebrity friends, and find out what makes them tick.
"Some episodes get really emotional, but there are loads of laughs too, and quite a few surprising revelations. You don't have to have watched Pride of Britain on TV either - the stories we tell on the podcast are incredible in their own right. We're really proud of the podcast, and I can't wait to hear what people think of it."
Opening up about how her life changed after becoming the victim of a horrific acid attack in 2008, Katie Piper says in the upcoming podcast released on Thursday: "I really worked on that belief of being resilient and that resilience is something we all have. That pedestal of being inspirational is a bit of a façade.
"We have all got it in our core, but we usually don’t tap into it until that’s the only choice we have left. I do believe sometimes in life that the only answer is within you. The only person that can make your life really bloody brilliant is yourself."
Pride of Britain Podcast ‘Extraordinary People’, featuring inaugural guest Katie Piper, launches tomorrow. Episodes will be available weekly on the Global network, Apple, Spotify and Amazon.
