Nottingham Forest supporters will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast as Storm Franklin follows Storms Eunice and Dudley in causing chaos across the country at the start of this week.
After Friday's scheduled trip to face Bournemouth on Friday night was postponed at short notice last week, Steve Cooper 's side are again due to be on their travels in midweek.
Preston North End are set to be their opponents in a top-half of the Championship clash on Tuesday evening at Deepdale (7:45 pm kick-off), when Forest fans will hope that talk can return to action on the pitch.
They may well get their wish, as conditions are forecast to ease over the next 24 hours ahead of the nighttime kick-off.
While a Yellow Weather Warning for wind remains in place by the Met Office across the Lancashire city, it is set to end at 1 pm on Monday and flood warnings for the River Ribble, which runs through the area, were removed earlier in the morning.
The Met Office's forecast for the North West tomorrow is also more promising as a breezy, showery start is set to give way to sunshine and showers into the afternoon.
It should also be added that for supporters planning to attend by train that the city's railway station reopened again on Sunday morning after having to be evacuated on Friday due to strong winds from Storm Eunice loosening metal roofing panels.
Rail users have been advised to check timetables before travelling.
