Team led by Brigadier Sanjay Kumar Mishra of Lucknow conducts successful cataract surgery of President Droupadi Murmu in Delhi

Droupadi Murmu Surgery Rashtrapati Bhavan New Delhi

LUCKNOW: A team of ophthalmologists from Indian army medical corps led by Brigadier Sanjay Kumar Mishra of Lucknow, conducted successful cataract surgery of President of India Droupadi Murmu’s left eye.

The operation was done on Sunday morning at Army hospital research and referral Delhi Cantt. Later, the team is expected to operate on the right eye of Murmu.
