President Joe Biden welcomed U.S. Olympians and Paraolypians at the White House on Monday to honor their achievements in the recent games in Paris. During the event on the South Lawn, Biden praised the athletes for embodying the spirit of America and serving as role models for the nation's youth.

Biden humorously mentioned that his staff had been keeping him updated on Team USA's performance at the Olympics while he was juggling national security briefings.
