Former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain has revealed that President Joe Biden is eager to demonstrate his backing for the Harris-Walz ticket at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Klain mentioned that he had a conversation with President Biden the previous night, where Biden expressed his enthusiasm for endorsing the Harris-Walz campaign during his speech at the convention.
Klain humorously remarked on the strong Democratic support for the Harris-Walz campaign, using the phrase “H-O-T T-O G-O” in reference to a popular song by Chappell Roan. He emphasized the significance of the upcoming election by stating, “Democracy is on the line this year,” and endorsed Vice President Harris as the ideal choice for the next President.
Addressing criticisms from Harris’ opponent, former President Donald Trump, Klain dismissed Trump's tactics as predictable. Klain suggested that Trump's attacks on the Harris-Walz campaign stem from a limited playbook characterized by misogyny and racism. He pointed out that Trump had employed similar tactics during the 2016 election against Secretary Clinton and noted that Trump's lack of substantive arguments led him to resort to recycled insults.
