President Joe Biden's physician has reported that the president's COVID-19 symptoms have almost completely resolved. Biden, who has been out of public view for the past five days, called into his former campaign headquarters to boost morale and express support for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Despite testing positive for COVID-19 last week, Biden has continued to fulfill his presidential duties. He completed his 10th dose of the COVID-fighting medication Paxlovid on Monday morning and remains in good health, with normal vital signs and clear lungs.

The president is expected to return to the White House on Tuesday afternoon after spending time at his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. While recovering, Biden has received virtual briefings from top advisers on homeland security and national security matters.

Biden's public schedule for the week includes plans to address the nation about his decision to end his candidacy. He is also scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the families of Americans held hostage in Gaza.

During his call to the campaign headquarters, Biden expressed his commitment to working towards ending the conflict in Gaza and bringing the remaining hostages home. He emphasized the importance of achieving Middle East peace and expressed optimism about reaching a resolution.

The president's recovery progress and continued engagement in presidential duties indicate a positive outlook as he prepares to resume his official responsibilities in the coming days.
