The trial, led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, focuses on Trump's alleged involvement in hush money payments to Stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign.
On the second day of the trial, jury selection is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Trump faces 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree in connection to the hush money scandal.
Trump has been mandated to attend the court proceedings each day of the trial, with Judge Juan Merchan warning of a potential arrest warrant if he fails to comply.
President Biden's campaign itinerary includes a night in Scranton before heading to Pittsburgh on Wednesday. He is also expected to make a brief stop at the White House before returning to Pennsylvania for an event in Philadelphia on Thursday.
