President Joe Biden has expressed his willingness to undergo a neurological exam if recommended by his doctors, in response to concerns about his mental fitness for a potential second term. During a solo news conference at the NATO Summit, Biden stated, 'I am not opposed, if my doctors tell me I should have another neurological exam, I’ll do it.'
He emphasized that he is constantly surrounded by competent medical professionals who assess his health daily. Biden assured the public that if his doctors believe a neurological exam is necessary, he will comply, regardless of whether they perceive any issues. He acknowledged the ongoing scrutiny regarding his age, acknowledging that it is challenging to satisfy everyone.
The President disclosed that he has already undergone three neurological exams while in office, with the most recent one taking place in February. Biden highlighted that his cognitive abilities are evaluated daily through the decisions he makes, underscoring his belief that age can bring wisdom.
