President Joe Biden shared a touching memory of his interactions with the late former President Jimmy Carter during a recent speech. Biden recalled a moment when Carter personally asked for his endorsement for the presidential campaign, despite Biden's initial reservations due to his limited experience in politics at the time.
Biden, who was one of the first senators to endorse Carter's 1976 presidential bid, emphasized that his decision was based not only on Carter's policies but also on his character, decency, and the sense of honor he conveyed to everyone around him.
