President Biden Believes Israel's PM Is Listening To Him

President Joe Biden visits Amtrak maintenance facility in Bear, Delaware

President Joe Biden stated on Thursday that he believes Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is heeding his advice in the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Biden expressed his opinion that Israel has not launched a full-scale invasion of Rafah, a move that the United States has cautioned against. In an interview, Biden mentioned, 'I think he's listening to me. They were going to go into Rafah full bore, invade all of Rafah, go into the city, take it out, move with full force. They haven't done that.' Biden acknowledged the support for a significant agreement by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the broader Arab world, emphasizing the importance of Hamas accepting the proposal for peace.

When asked about Netanyahu's stance on the ceasefire deal, Biden noted that the Israeli leader has publicly expressed support for it. Biden stressed the urgency of achieving a ceasefire amidst the challenging circumstances in the region.

The situation in Gaza remains tense as efforts continue to reach a resolution that would bring an end to the violence and restore stability in the region. The involvement of key regional players and international leaders, including President Biden, underscores the significance of finding a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
