President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump were seen riding in the same limousine on their way to the US Capitol for today's swearing-in ceremony. This marks a significant moment as four years ago, Trump had chosen not to ride with Biden during his swearing-in ceremony.

However, this year, the two leaders are following the tradition where the outgoing president accompanies the president-elect to the US Capitol for the inauguration. This tradition was also observed when President Barack Obama escorted Trump to the Capitol in 2017.
