Premises have been evacuated and one of Scotland's busiest motorways has been closed after reports of a suspicious package in the east end of Glasgow.
Police Scotland responded to the report of a suspicious package found within a premises on Milnbank Street, near Alexandra Parade on Thursday afternoon.
Officers rushed to the scene at around 3.30pm and evacuated the building where the discovery was made.

Images posted on social media by locals show a Royal Navy bomb disposal van was sent to the scene.
The force confirmed an EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) team had been contacted and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) confirmed it was also assisting at the scene.
Part of the M8 was also closed with commuters advised to use alternative routes where possible.
The motorway - already in the throes of rush hour - was closed between junctions 12 and 15 until around 6.20pm but has since been re-opened.

Stagecoach West Scotland has also confirmed that its X19, X25, X25A and X28 services will not be able to serve their usual Stirling Road stops as a result of the ongoing incident.
The firm added: "We are sorry for any delays, rest assured we're trying to get to you as quickly as we can."
Scottish Citylink has also advised that its services are affected due to the motorway closure.
