Premier League transfer news: Raheem Sterling set for Chelsea move, Barcelona close in on Raphinha, N'golo Kante to Arsenal?

Things continue to heat up in the transfer market and this week could see some more big moves.

With the new season fast approaching, it's time for players to decide whether they'll stick or twist.

Here's the latest transfer stories doing the rounds:

Raheem Sterling close to joining Chelsea

Chelsea have agreed a fee with Manchester City to sign England international Raheem Sterling on a five year contract in a deal that is being reported by the BBC to be worth 50 million up front including add-ons.

This is the second contentious move of Sterling's career, as he joined Manchester City from Liverpool seven years ago. The move has been an unquestionable success for the Jamaican born flyer, with Sterling picking up four Premier League winners medals in his time in sky blue.

The 27-year old winger has been a mainstay in the City attack since his arrival in Manchester back in 2015. Sterling leaves the club with an impressive record of 131 goals and 95 assists.

N'golo Kante to Arsenal?

Arsenal are considering a move for World Cup winner N'golo Kante.

According to the Daily Star , 'The Gunners' are seriously considering making a move for the french defensive midfielder.

Kante has been a revelation since joining English football. He's quickly become one of the best midfielders on the planet, and has been the driving force behind Leicester's Premier League triumph, France's World Cup glory and Chelsea's Champions League success.

And with only a year left on his current deal, Arsenal will fancy their chances at getting this one over the line.

Raphinha set for Barcelona move

Barcelona have won the race to sign Raphinha, according to the Daily Mail .

The Leeds winger, 25, is a transfer target for Chelsea but it's claimed he's chosen a move to Spain.

Barcelona have reportedly agreed a £63 million fee with Leeds, £55m of which will be paid up front.

Clark close to Newcastle exit

Newcastle defender Ciaran Clark is close to joining Sheffield United on a season-long loan, according to Sky Sports News .

The experienced centre-back, 32, has 36 senior caps for the Republic of Ireland.

Clark will undergo a medical at Bramall Lane shortly. He has just one year left on his Newcastle contract.

Depay available for transfer

Memphis Depay is available for transfer, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The Dutchman arrived at Barcelona last summer on a free transfer from French giants Lyon. He made 37 appearances in all competitions during his debut campaign with the club, scoring 13 goals.

Depay has been linked with former club Manchester United.

Kane heading to Bayern?

Bayern Munich are considering making a move for Harry Kane, according to German outlet Kicker.

The England captain, 28, has been identified as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski, 33.

Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern this summer with Barcelona interested in his services.

Kane has two years left on his existing deal.

Ronaldo transfer decision made

Thomas Tuchel has ruled out a summer move to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.

The forward appears to have his heart set on leaving United this summer just a year after his emotional return. Blues owner Todd Boehly is keen to bring in a marquee signing this summer to mark the beginning of a new era for the club and had held initial talks with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes.

But the move is now unlikely to go ahead as Tuchel isn't keen to bring Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge.
