To succeed in the league, it is crucial to make the most of one’s strengths. And most teams are at their strongest at home, playing in front of their fans.

In the list below, we will take a look at the teams that have benefitted the most from home advantage this season. Here are the top five teams that have scored the most goals at home across the 2024-25 Premier League season:

#5 Liverpool – 13 Goals

Having scored 13 goals at Anfield Stadium in seven Premier League games, Liverpool has clinched the fifth spot on this list. They have won six games and lost one.

Overall, Arne Slot’s men have scored 29 goals in the division this season. With an impressive 35 to their name after 14 games, Liverpool have climbed to the top of the Premier League rankings.

Liverpool’s most emphatic victory at home came against Bournemouth on September 21. Luis Diaz scored an excellent brace and Darwin Nunez found the back of the net as the Merseysiders claimed a 3-0 victory over the Cherries.

#4 Manchester City – 15 Goals

Reigning English champions Manchester City have not been at their best this season, scoring a mere 27 goals in 15 Premier League games and sitting in fourth place in the rankings. Even in turmoil, City has done quite well at home, scoring 15 times in seven games. They have won five matches, drawn one, and lost one.

Pep Guardiola’s men were at their best in their first home game of the season. Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick and Kevin De Bruyne found the back of the net to propel Manchester City to a 4-1 win over Ipswich Town on August 24.

#3 Arsenal – 17 Goals

In third place, we have Premier League aspirants Arsenal. The Gunners have been excellent at the Emirates Stadium this season, scoring 17 goals in seven games. They have won five games and drawn two.

Home and away, Mikel Arteta’s men have scored 29 goals in the league in 2024-25. With 29 points to their name, Arsenal is third in the Premier League rankings.

Arsenal’s most explosive match at the Emirates Stadium came against Leicester City on September 28. Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Kai Havertz found the back of the net for the hosts while Wilfried Ndidi scored an own goal to secure a 4-2 victory for the North London side.

#2 Tottenham Hotspur – 20 Goals

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur has been on the money at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, scoring 20 goals in eight matches. They have won four games, lost three, and drawn one.

Across home and away games, Spurs have netted 31 times in the English top flight. Despite their excellent record in front of goal (3rd best in the league), the Lilywhites are toiling in 11th place with just 20 points to their name.

Spurs claimed their most impressive win at home on Saturday, August 24. Yves Bissouma and Cristian Romero scored one goal each and Heung-min Son bagged an excellent brace to propel the home team to a 4-0 win over Everton.

#1 Brentford – 26 Goals

At the summit sits Brentford, with the Bees finding the back of the net a whopping 26 times in eight league matches at the Gtech Community Stadium. They have won seven games and drawn one.

Overall, they have scored 31 Premier League goals in 15 matches this season and are sitting in ninth place in the league rankings with 23 points. Brentford has won seven games, drawn two, and lost six.

Thomas Frank’s side scored the most goals at home in the clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on October 5. Nathan Collins, Bryan Mbeumo, Christian Norgaard, Ethan Pinnock, and Fabio Carvalho all chipped in with one goal each to propel the hosts to a 5-3 victory.
