Premier League clubs have agreed to end gambling sponsorships on their matchday shirts by the conclusion of the 2025/2026 season.
After extensive talks between the Premier League and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Premier League has become the first major sports league in the UK to voluntarily reduce gambling advertisements.
Gambling sponsorships are commonplace in football and in this year's Premier League, 8 of the 20 clubs (Bournemouth, Brentford, Everton, Fulham, Leeds, Newcastle, Southampton and West Ham) are sponsored by gambling companies.
