A busy weekend of Premier League action kicked off on Friday night as Southampton beat Norwich.
The Carabao Cup final means Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are all sitting out gameweek 27, while Burnley make up one of their many games in hand in midweek.
Saturday lunchtime saw Tottenham hammer Leeds before Manchester United were held to a goalless draw by Watford as the top-four race took another turn. There was a damaging result for Brentford as they were reduced to ten men and beaten by relegation rivals Newcastle at home.
At 5.30pm, Manchester City travelled to Everton and extended their lead over title rivals Liverpool to six points, after a late winner gave them victory at Goodison Park.
West Ham beat Wolves at London Stadium in the only action on Sunday.
