Leeds United's chances of staying in the Premier League were dealt a cruel blow this weekend and a Premier League supercomputer makes bleak reading for the Whites. The 3-1 defeat to West Ham United leaves Sam Allardyce's side two points adrift of safety knowing they need a win against Tottenham Hotspur and a favour from elsewhere if they want to guarantee survival.
FiveThirtyEight predicts Leeds to finish in 19th and they have just a six per cent chance of survival. The Whites are predicted to finish on 32 points - meaning they'd manage just a draw against Spurs.
Relegation rivals Leicester City are tipped to draw with Newcastle United this evening and then draw with West Ham United on the final day of the season. Two draws would put the Foxes above the Whites on goal difference but both clubs would still end up playing in the Championship next season.

Allardyce's men had a 36 per cent chance of survival heading into this weekend's round of fixtures, but their hopes of playing Premier League football next season are dwindling. One look through the supercomputer's data only highlights just how poor the Whites have been.
Leeds had 76 per cent chance of survival back on April 19, despite a 6-1 defeat to Liverpool just two days earlier. The Whites had seven games to save their season at that stage, but would part company with Javi Gracia and pick up just two points from six games.
In fact, the supercomputer tipped Leeds to survive in the Premier League as recent as the 1-1 draw with Leicester City at the end of April, but the 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth acted as a turning point. With just a six per cent chance of staying up, Allardyce and Leeds United need a miracle on the final day.
