The TV schedule is out for the opening weekend and two London clubs will be appearing on Sky Sports or BT Sport right at the start of the 2022/23 campaign.
This season is set to be like one we have never seen before, with the usual fixture schedule being altered due to the unusual winter World Cup. Qatar 2022 will disrupt the November and December calendar for all clubs competing in their respective leagues and European competitions. Therefore, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs, who themselves are competing in domestic European competitions, will have to adapt to unusual circumstances that haven't been seen before.
This includes the earlier start to the season, which kicks off on the weekend commencing August 6. Usually, the Premier League opens its doors for business at the mid-end of August but the opening games have been brought forward to help relieve fixture congestion later in the campaign, with the top two divisions in England pausing for the Word Cup.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all know their fixture calendar and who awaits for Mikel Arteta, Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte, with two of the three London sides selected for opening weekend TV coverage.
football.london takes a look at just this as well as who the other TV games are for the fixtures that start with the now customary Friday Night Football opener on August 5 2022.
Arsenal and Arteta have been given the chance to right the wrongs of last season as they travel to Selhurst Park on the Friday night to take on Patrick Vieira and Crystal Palace. That damaging 3-0 loss in south London formed part of a disappointing start to last season for them, so can they make it right this time round in front of the Sky Sports cameras?
Another side looking for revenge in their opening fixture will be Chelsea and Tuchel who travel to Merseyside to face off against Frank Lampard and his Everton side, who just about survived the drop in 2021/22. That 1-0 Goodison Park victory over the Blues at the time essentially secured Lampard's side safety for 2022/23. Thankfully, for the west Londoners, their third-place position was held on to despite this slip-up.
However, revenge is revenge and when 5:30pm comes around on August 6, the German will certainly want to get one over on his predecessor who had the first laugh in front of the Sky cameras. This time around, Sky Sports will be showing this Saturday Night Football fixture.
Elsewhere, Tottenham haven't been selected for opening weekend TV coverage but Premier League hopefuls Liverpool and their new signing Darwin Nunez will be travelling to west London to take on newly-promoted Fulham in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off (12:30pm). A fixture which will be hosted on BT Sport.
Erik ten Hag's Manchester United will take on Brighton at home in the early Super Sunday clash on August 7 (2pm), while reigning Champions Manchester City travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham for the later game on the same day (4:30pm).
