Leeds United know a win over West Ham would be a huge step in the right direction. The Whites have shown an improvement defensively since the Premier League restarted just under a week ago, despite worrying signs in their final warm up friendly after the World Cup.
Ligue 1 side AS Monaco ran riot in the second-half against Jesse Marsch's side, which spread fear amongst the Whites' fanbase with Man City on the horizon. Leeds turned in a spirited first-half performance before earning an important point on the road against high flying Newcastle.
A win against the Hammers, who are second bottom of the Premier League form table having picked up just one win in their last six games, would be huge. Leeds are currently 13th in the form table having picked up seven points from their last six games.

Four of the Whites next six games come against sides above them in the form table. Games against the Hammers and then Everton at Goodison Park present opportunities for Marsch and his men to put some distance between themselves and the bottom three.
However, they're also set to take on Brentford, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Manchester United. Leeds supporters will be hoping for maximum points from three of the four aforementioned ties, with the Red Devils the toughest opposition on paper.
There remains an opportunity for the Whites to prove their Premier League credentials, but it may also drag them towards the bottom three if they're unable to capitalise on their steady restart.
