Everton midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin's kits and tracksuits have been spotted for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Gbamin, 27, joined the Toffees from Mainz in a £25million deal four years ago but has failed to make an impression on Merseyside. Injuries and a lack of form have restricted the Ivory Coast international to just six Premier League appearances and two loan spells.
Gbamin's agent recently called his client's time at Goodison Park a "nightmare" and insisted he wants to leave, with just a year left on his contract. The player has responded by appearing to sell a bundle his "match-worn" kits and training gear on social media.
Everton fans have spotted the sale on Facebook and asked when these kits were worn, considering Gbamin's lack of Premier League minutes. "Can't be Gbamin, it says match-worn," laughed one fan, while another tweeted: "That is rare... a match-worn Gbamin shirt."
Gbamin has not needed his Everton kit this season after spending time on loan at Trabzonspor. He endured another tough campaign in Turkey, playing just 19 league games to help Trabzonspor finish sixth in the Super Lig, 31 points behind champions Galatasaray.
Gbamin was signed by Everton in August 2019 after impressive spells with Lens and Mainz. He told fans on his arrival: "It’s a big moment with a lot of emotion and now it’s on me to prove on the pitch why they bought me.

"I’m excited because Everton is a great club here in England with a big history and ambition so I didn’t think for more than a moment - I wanted to come here."
Gbamin promised to "give everything on the pitch" but played just twice in his first season on Merseyside after suffering a serious hamstring injury before rupturing an Achilles tendon. A knee complaint then further delayed his progress.
Once Gbamin eventually recovered from his injury woes, he failed to break into the starting XI and was restricted to sporadic substitute appearances. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Russian side CSKA Moscow.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Gbamin's agent Bernard Collignon confirmed his client "doesn't want to come back to Everton" to complete the final year of his contract. He added: "We will have to find another project for him.
"I am the one who chose Everton for him because it would have been a stepping stone to move on elsewhere. There was interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and even Jurgen Klopp wanted to sign him for Liverpool six months before, but now Jean-Philippe wants to go back to Germany."
Collignon claims Gbamin's first injury was caused because "he was not fit". He said: "The club should have let him play in reserve games to achieve full fitness and also to gain confidence so that he would be ready for the intensity of the Premier League."
