Premier League confirm U-turn over introduction of five substitutes rule and announce transfer window dates

Premier League clubs have confirmed the re-introduction of a five substitutes rule from the start of next season.

The English top-flight introduced a five subs rule after the first coronavirus shutdown in May 2020, but was then the only major European competition to revert to three for the start of the 2020/21 campaign.
