Everton could have soon been lining up against a Burnley side with ex-Liverpool man Victor Moses in its ranks - but the Premier League have 'blocked' the Clarets' move for the forward currently playing in Russia.
The Spartak Moscow player is still in the Russian capital, isolated from friends and family after Vladimir Putin waged war on Ukraine.
Moses, 31, is considered out of contract with Spartak Moscow and can be signed under special dispensation granted by FIFA and UEFA, but the Premier League have seemingly put a stop to Sean Dyche's attempt to bring the former Chelsea man to Turf Moor for a vital couple of months.

Burnley have tried to provide Moses with the opportunity to play football again and allow him to earn a salary, and be reunited with his family in England. But the Premier League has apparently shut down any deal, "citing the sporting integrity of the competition" according to Sky Sports.
Dyche's side are currently in the Premier League's bottom three and face a battle for survival.
Frank Lampard's Everton side are due to take on Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday, April 6 in what is a huge encounter at the foot of the table.
The Premier League has declined to comment on Moses' prospective move to Burnley when asked by Sky.
