Premier Energies shares gain 4% after Nomura, Quant, others purchase stake in Rs 2,289 crore bulk deal

Premier Energies Quant Mutual Fund Renewable Energy

Shares of Premier Energies gained 4% to their day's high of Rs 1,020 on the BSE on Tuesday after a host of funds purchased stake in the renewable energy player following a Rs 2,289-crore bulk deal on Monday.

Stock exchange data showed that Smallcap World Fund Inc acquired 24.44 lakh shares, while Quant Mutual Fund purchased 40.83 lakh shares. Nomura India Investment Fund Mother Fund picked up another 25 lakh shares. Other buyers included Kotak Mahindra Life, SBI Life and Kotak Mutual Fund, among others.
