Pregnant woman left trapped in Crete for weeks after premature birth on 'babymoon'

A first time mum and dad were stuck on a Greek island for eight weeks after she gave birth prematurely.

Robyn Bishop, 29, jetted off on a 'babymoon' to Crete in April, to spend quality time with her partner Stephen Howe, 32, before the arrival of their daughter. However baby Flora came six weeks early, just two days into their stay at a luxury five-star resort.

Due to the baby being declared too premature to fly by their insurance company, the were left trapped on the island and only arrived back in the UK last week, WalesOnline reports.
