Janette Manrara has revealed she will be having a C-section when she gives birth in a few weeks time. Speaking to Hello, the former Strictly Come Dancing professional who now co-hosts It Takes Two spoke about her birthing plans ahead of the big arrival.
The 39-year-old who is married to fellow Strictly star Aljaz Skorjanec is welcoming her first child to the word after going through IVF treatment. Janette said that due to the size of the baby and her hips which she used to salsa around the Strictly ballroom dancefloor, doctors have advised her to opt for a caesarean, the Mirror reports.
She said: "It looks like we have a bigger than average size baby, but I’m not an average size human and because of the width of my hips it’s advised that I get a C-section.

"But I feel really relaxed about it all. You really can’t plan everything because there are so many variables and I’m kind of open to all the different options and scenarios."
Looking ahead to when it happens, Janette said her and Aljaz have battery-powered candles and a playlist to help them through the birth. She said a date for the C-section has not been booked in yet.
Janette said: "So, I’m not trying to lock in a certain date or procedure, because you just never really know how it’s going to happen until the baby comes. And I think having that kind of openness in my thoughts has actually kept me quite calm."
