Stacey Solomon has revealed that she is in tears after she and husband Joe Swash have been given a break from all four of her children for the first time in years.
The 33-year-old, who is now in her third trimester of pregnancy with her fifth child, told her followers on Saturday that the pair would be indulging in some well-deserved alone-time after Joe’s 41st birthday.
Posing in a white robe in front of a bubble bath, Stacey took to her Instagram story to write: “In a very rare turn of events, my dad has given Joe the gift of pickle sitting for his birthday."
She continued: "So, granddad has just turned up and taken all the kids out for the day and is then having them overnight.
“We honestly cannot remember the last time this happened because finding a babysitter for five isn’t easy.
“So, we are having the most surreal morning and going to get ready and do something together. Happy Saturday,” Stacey concluded.
Of course, the family all spent time together for Joe’s birthday yesterday, with Stacey revealing that she treated the TV presenter to a McDonald’s breakfast on his special day.
“Me and Rexy got up before everyone this morning so we snuck out to get daddy a birthday McMuffin,” she revealed on her Instagram stories.
“Then they all woke up when they smelled McDonald’s, she added.
“Happy birthday Joe, to the moon and back always.”
Her Instagram uploads come as fans had speculated that she had already given birth to her fifth child.
The presenter who is currently awaiting the birth of her new baby has apologised to her social media followers after becoming relatively quiet across her online platforms.
In view of her 5.5 million followers, she said: "So many of you were like, 'Stace, don’t do that to us, you've been quiet for a few days and we thought you'd given birth.'
"Sorry, I'm very much still full-term pregnant, I just really wanted to try and make it to a couple of days before the baby comes."
Stacey continued: "I know I can't control it, but my midwife was like, 'If you want a chance of getting to those days, calm the hell down and don't do anything silly.'
"So I've been trying to rest and I made it to today, which I'm so excited about."
