Pregnant Laura Anderson 'very upset' as ex Gary Lucy reveals gender of their baby 'without her consent'

Pregnant Laura Anderson is said to be 'really upset' as her ex Gary Lucy announced the gender of their unborn baby yesterday.

The couple split just weeks after they revealed that they are expecting a child together and things seem to have been rocky between them ever since.

The pair never announced publicly the gender of their little one until yesterday (Thursday) when Gary posted it on Instagram, allegedly 'without her consent'.

A source close to Laura told the Daily Record that she was very upset that he publicly announced the news. They said: "Gary announced the gender news without getting her consent. She’s really upset by this”.

The former Love Island star still hasn't addressed Gary's post, however she shared a cryptic Instagram story which showed a cute little girl saying: "I can't do negative today, positive vibes, positive vibes" and beside it Laura wrote: "Today is going to be a good day right gang! Love you all more than you know."

Gary's announcement post (Instagram)

Despite Laura never revealing the gender of their baby previously saying she 'wasn't ready to', yesterday afternoon, Gary posted on his Instagram that the pair are expecting a girl.

Sharing a picture of the scan, he also post another image which reads: "Daddy's Girl" alongside the words: "For everyone that has been asking... Let's hope she inherits her mummy's looks."

He also captioned the post: "Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyone… so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!" No one commented on the post as he had turned the reply section off.

Laura previously confirmed that she knew the gender of her baby and has already chosen a name but admitted she wasn't ready to reveal the news publicly quite yet, and she would share in "due course."

Speaking to Goss.ie, Laura said: "I know what I'm having and I have a name. I will share in due course… I've already done a small [gender reveal party], but I've not shared it publicly yet. But I will soon."
