Pregnant Laura Anderson reportedly called time on her relationship with Gary Lucy after their first baby scan.
Love Island alumni Laura announced the news on Wednesday that she is expecting her first child with ex-boyfriend Gary. Laura, 33, shared a video with fans showcasing her growing bump, alongside footage with family members and Gary, 41, present.
She captioned the sweet post: "Our hearts are full. Baby Lucy due Summer ‘23".
This comes after weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship, as the Scots reality star posted cryptic social media posts hinting towards a split. The two met on the set of Celebs Go Dating at the end of last year, and were loved up ever since, with Gary even spending Christmas in Stirling with Laura and her family.
After weeks of rumours surrounding the state of their relationship, Gary confirmed to The Sun today that the pair had split, but he vowed they are committed to raising their child together.
He said: "I love Laura but we are no longer together. My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby."
A source added: "Gary's been left devastated - he's absolutely heartbroken.
"They spent Christmas together and he travelled to Glasgow last weekend in a desperate attempt to try to win her back, they enjoyed a meal out and attended their first scan together - but Laura was adamant it's over."
Gary, who lives in Essex, was previously married to Natasha Gray - who he shares his four children with - but they ultimately split in 2018. Laura and Gary met on the set of the E4 dating show and were consistently posting loved-up photos of one another until early January.
The Scots star previously lived in Dubai and was in a long-term relationship with Dane Bowers, as they tried for a baby through IVF, before they split and she signed up to the dating show. Laura sparked concerns she and Gary had gone their separate ways as she shared a cryptic Instagram post recently.
Alongside a snap of herself posing alongside her beloved pooch Buddy, she wrote on her stories: "I know I've been quiet on here and not myself this week or so. I'm going through a very difficult time, I actually don't think I've ever felt so stressed in my life.
"As we know Instagram isn't real life but over sharing negativity has never been something I like doing. Anyway my thought of the day for us all is - never lose yourself or your voice."
A source close to Laura added to The Sun: "Laura is seeing this as a fresh start as she has wanted to be a mum for some time. She is so excited and knows that Gary is a great dad to his four kids with his ex.
"She has wanted a baby for a while and she can't wait to start this new chapter in her life."
