Pregnant ITV Love Island star Amy Hart supported over 'cesspool' social media after being told she'll be a 'terrible mum' by vile trolls

Pregnant Love Island star Amy Hart has been supported after speaking out about vile trolls. The former Islander, from Love Island 2019, last week shared her exciting pregnancy news on Loose Women.

The 30-year-old reality star yesterday revealed that she's since received nasty messages. Amy, who is expecting her first child with her partner Sam Rason, has been urged by fans to 'ignore the haters.'

Amy tweeted with zany face emojis: "‘I didn’t mean to come across as a b****’ People after I’ve replied to a message when they’ve listed the reasons I’m gonna be a terrible mum. The internet is a wild place."

Amy conceived naturally after freezing her eggs over fertility fears. She revealed following her Loose Women announcement on Monday that she would be monitored during her pregnancy after abnormal cells had been found on her cervix which can't be removed over fears it might bring on miscarriage or early labour. Doctors had also found fibroids - non-cancerous growths that develop in or around the womb.

Updating fans last week she also revealed the due date, saying: "Little Scan update!! The baby wasn’t really playing ball this morning with all the measurements they needed to take but was good because it meant we got an extra long scan! Saw it’s spine, brain, legs, arms, bladder etc!" she wrote.

"So we had all the apps telling us 6th March due date, then our nhs early scan said the 9th March, our midwife worked it out as the 5th and then our private scan 2 weeks ago said 28th Feb….well it turns out you should always trust your midwife as Em was right and our due date is now defo 5th March! So I’m 13 weeks and 2 days!"

She shared: "Fibroids are looking bigger but just had a phone call to say the consultant has looked at them and they think they won’t impact the baby. But just need to make sure everything contracts back properly afterwards (not sure what happens if it doesn’t?!).

"In case you missed my story I also have CIN 1& 2 on my cervix which will be monitored by a consultant as removing can cause early labour or MC." And she added: "Thank you so so much for all the amazing messages yesterday, means so much to us!"

Amy, who was left heartbroken on Love Island after splitting from dancer Curtis Pritchard, had her eggs frozen from the age of 27 after undergoing a 'fertility MOT.' She told the ITV chat show Loose Women: "When I've been on here I've talked about fertility MOTs and Loose Women then supported me to get my fertility MOT. Then I came on here and shared the results.

"Then I froze my eggs because of that and then I came on here and talked about that. Then I met Sam and he had his first TV appearance on Loose Women. So I felt it was the only place to announce that I'm pregnant."

Amy and Sam have been dating since April 2021 after meeting through the dating app Bumble. The couple moved in together in Hertfordshire after just two months of being together. She previously admitted she told friends after a date with Sam that she was 'going to marry' him.
