Gogglebox star Ellie Warner left fans delighted as she shared a string of snaps from her getaway with boyfriend Nat Eddleston. The couple appeared in a series of selfies as they enjoyed the sights in Paris.
Their trip away comes 10 months after a horror car crash that left Nat, 33, fighting for his life. He was rushed to hospital in April after being hit by a car during a night out and was left severely injured with a broken neck, a broken back and two collapsed lungs. But the couple have since been celebrating brighter times ahead.
Ellie, 31, casually revealed on the last series of Gogglebox that she was pregnant with her younger sister looking at her scan photo. "So I went for a scan on Saturday," she told her sister, Izzi, who she has appeared on the hit Channel 4 show with since 2015.
“It looks like a jellied alien! When I showed mum the picture, she said 'Oh can I take a picture?' and you didn't even look at it for two minutes," she continued to which Izzi responded: "I did! I told you where the things were, I'll stare at it a bit longer just to make you happy."
So the pair were probably getting in one last bit of alone time before their first child makes an appearance by heading off to France. Ellie took to Instagram with selfies of the pair at Moulin Rouge, the Arc du Triomphe, taking a look at the Mona Lisa and, of course, taking in the Eiffel Tower.
"Ellie and Nat in Paris," Ellie simply captioned the post alongside a French flag emoji. And the comments soon came flooding in with many thrilled to see Nat looking well. @tabtcbbc said: "Seems like Nat has made a full recovery from his accident, thank goodness."
@b9nso commented: "Great to see Nat out and about.." @thelittlecosycorner wrote: "So good to see him about! Hope his recovery has been good." @bridiecostelloe posted: "Fantastic to see Nat out and about hope you’re having a brilliant time." @deemoor615 added: "Good to see Nat standing by your side x glad to see he has recovered from accident. Blessings to you both."
Others, however, were expecting something else from the fresh post. @traceymelissa said: "Thought there would have been a proposal pic?" @annmariemollan commented: "Ooo la la how romantic," alongside a diamond ring emoji. @nici.thornton added: "There's a [ring] on the way I reckon...."
