Ali Bastian looked absolutely glowing as she stepped out in London at the weekend.
The former Hollyoaks star - who played Becca Dean on the Cheshire-based Channel 4 soap - is currently pregnant with her second child.
She had her bump proudly on display as she posed for pictures with beloved Julia Donaldson characters Stick Man and The Gruffallo while attending an event to celebrate the launch of kids audio player tonies at Hamleys.
Also joining the 40-year-old at the iconic toy chain’s flagship store in London’s Regent Street on Sunday was husband David O’Mahoney and their two-year-old Isla Rose.
The Gruffalo-themed storytelling event was hosted by author Giovanna Fletcher and Sky TV Wonder Raps star MC Grammar.
Also in attendance were Vogue Williams, Binky Felstead and Olympian Perri Edwards.
Bastian - who made it to the semi finals of Strictly Come Dancing in 2009 - revealed last month that she is due to give birth in February.
Having given birth to her first child in the height of lockdown, she will be hoping for a smoother experience this time around.
Aside from being unable to introduce Isla to other family members until restrictions were lifted, she opened up about the anxiety she felt after being able to leave her house for the first time in three months.
Chatting to the Made By Mammas podcast, she explained: “I remember the first time, I hadn’t been to any shops or anything and I went to Boots.
“I was, oh god, I don’t know. I just felt...just really vulnerable I guess.”
She added: “It was my little brother who was worried. I said to him, ‘I genuinely can’t imagine I’m ever going to let anyone hold Isla, or pass her to anybody.’
“He was like ‘sound the alarm,’ and said ‘we have to do something about this’.”
Bastian went on: “He gave me that loving push in the right direction to see mum properly and let her hold her and have some help.
“I am really, really glad we did that. We were going down a difficult road.”
