Daisy Lowe said she's "trying so hard not to get frustrated" as she awaits the arrival of her unborn child, telling fans she hopes to give birth before the due date next month.
The fashion model, 34, had announced that she was expecting a baby with her fiancé Jordan Saul last year. The news came shortly after the couple had become engaged.
She has shared updates Instagram throughout the pregnancy in recent months and spoke candidly about her feelings ahead of the due date in a post earlier this morning.
The post - which she shared with her followers on the platform - included photos of Daisy modelling underwear and posing for photos whilst sat in a lounge area.
Alongside the photos, she wrote in the caption: "It's Friday, it's pouring and I really thought [I'd] have this little baby in my arms by now". Daisy included a laughing emoji."
She added: "I'm still 9 days away from my due date ... but I have always been so impatient. My mum always birthed us a few weeks early and I really believed I would be the same."
Daisy - who competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 - continued by telling her followers on the platform that she had experienced "intense" contractions in recent days.
She wrote in the caption: "My body has been doing the dance with Braxton hicks the past week ...the past 2 days they were so intense for hours and then they went away.
"I'm trying so hard not to get frustrated, disappointed in myself ... I know that my baby will arrive when the stars align and it's the right time. So I keep telling myself!"
She continued: "To every woman who has carried past their due date. I absolutely salute you! This last bit is so heavy ... sore and uncomfortable. Not to mention the hormones!"
Sharing her thoughts on pregnancy, she added in the post this morning: "My goodness this process is magic but it's the hardest thing I've ever put my body through."
Daisy also took the opportunity to express gratitude for her fiancé, writing: "Thank goodness for all the giggles you keep encouraging out of me my handsome team mate [Jordan]".
The post has prompted supportive messages from her followers. Among those who liked the post was Ashley Roberts, 41, and she shared heart emojis in the comments.
