Pregnant Cardi B hit back at 'dumb' skin bleaching accusations

Cardi B took no prisoners when responding to allegations she has been bleaching her skin.

The Bodak Yellow rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, did not mince her words when responding to a user on social media platform X on Wednesday after they reposted a recent photo of her and questioned if she has “been bleaching her skin.”

“Bleaching while pregnant? Why must yall be so dumb?” Cardi shot back.

The disgruntled rapper went on to reveal that the reason her skin tone looks a little different is because she has anemia — an iron deficiency resulting in a low number of red blood cells. Mild anemia during pregnancy is common, according to Mayo Clinic.

She explained: “I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic, this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale, eyes sunken, veins green ASF, can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy.”

Making sure that the message was received loud and clear, the soon-to-be mum-of-three concluded: “PLEAE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR A**HOLE!”

Cardi confirmed her latest pregnancy earlier this month shortly after reportedly filing for divorce from her husband, Offset, for the second time.

She made the big reveal over on Instagram, posting photos of her growing baby bump in a revealing red dress.

The 31-year-old, already a mother to daughter Kulture and son Wave, hinted at the split from the Migos star in her post and featured her cradling her belly on a rooftop against the backdrop of the NYC skyline.

She captioned the post: “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!
