Britney Spears has left many of her fans convinced of the gender of her unborn baby after she shared a sweet throwback video of her relaxing in the sea,
The 40-year-old singer has recently revealed that she is pregnant with her third child and her first with fiancé Sam Asghari.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, she posted a clip of her "playing in the water" just after finding out she was pregnant, while she was on holiday in Mexico.
Wearing a white and blue patterned bikini, Britney is seen lying on her stomach as the waves lapped over her, before she rolled on to her side as she rubbed her midriff.
Beaming with happiness under the Mexican sun, Britney captioned the video: "Throwback clips of me and my small fetus playing in the water in Mexico."
The singer then went on to tease her followers further with what fans believe to be a cryptic clue as to the gender of her growing baby.
Sharing a pic of a painting by French artist Pierre Carrier Belleuse, who is renowned for his images of ballerinas, it left fans in no doubt at what Britney is expecting.
The painting shows a woman in white, delicately touching a butterfly on her shoulder.
Fans were quick to flood the comments with the first to not beat around the bush, writing: "It’s definitely a girl."
Many more agreed as they shared their love of the "beautiful" image, with some urging Britney to not forget that she is as "beautiful" as well.
Britney already has two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, and she revealed on Monday that she was expecting her third child as she had "got a pregnancy test" and she's "having a baby."
She has also spoken about the "absolutely horrible" perinatal depression she suffered when previously pregnant.
Britney wrote: "Women didn’t talk about it back then … some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her.
"But now women talk about it everyday … thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret."
Britney had often said in the past that she hoped to have another child but during her 13-year conservatorship, she was mandated to stay on birth control by her father Jamie Spears, who presided over it until he ended his involvement last year.
