One change has already been helpfully confirmed by Jesse Marsch ahead of Leeds United’s trip to Leicester City. Junior Firpo will make his first start of the season after Pascal Struijk picked up an injury this week.
The rest of the team seems to be led by how the team played in the second half of Sunday’s match. In other words, Marsch will surely want to recapture what made that performance against Arsenal so impressive when he takes his team to the East Midlands.
The one variable we cannot judge is fatigue-induced rotation. To the naked eye, the team which finished the weekend loss looked sound and ready for tonight’s match, barring the Struijk injury Marsch has revealed.

There are able deputies across the field should Marsch need them, but the smart money should be on the XI which started at the weekend aside from Firpo and, surely, Patrick Bamford. The forward may have missed a penalty, but his overall performance was very good and improved the team’s outright attacking efficacy too.
The fact he only played 45 minutes should stand him in good stead four days later.
Predicted line-up: Meslier; Kristensen, Koch, Cooper, Firpo; Adams Roca; Harrison, Aaronson, Sinisterra; Bamford.
