Celtic are badly in need of a pick-me-up against Hibs after a recent run of underwhelming league form was capped by RB Leipzig running out comfortable winners in Tuesday's Champions League clash.
But Lee Johnson's side have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks and are looking to bounce back after a 1-0 defeat to Dundee United during the week. Saturday's clash at Parkhead is a big one for both teams and as Ryan Porteous and Co aim to keep the champions at bay.
With a pivotal Premier Sports cup clash with Motherwell looming, Ange Postecoglou will have likely freshen up his starting XI. The problem is, there's not too much left to play with as injuries have mounted up. Captain Callum McGregor and Jota will both watch from the stands and it's been confirmed that David Turnbull, Stephen Welsh and Carl Starfelt won't be fit to tackle the Easter Road side either.
This likely means that Moritz Jenz will likely keep his place in defence alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers. The pair impressed for the most part against RB Leipzig. The absence of Jota is good news for veteran star James Forrest. The Celtic legend has struggled for game time after his latest long-term injury but Postecoglou has made it clear he still sees the winger's future at Parkhead. And he has looked razor sharp off the bench in recent matches.
