Throughout life, we encounter moments where excitement and uncertainty collide. For many young people, heading off to university is one such example. You’ll be familiar with the feeling – the application is in, the offer has been accepted, and now you wait. But in the background, there’s that nerve-racking question: what if I don’t fit in?

Pre-enrolment nerves are common and shared by thousands of students. The truth is though, despite what you may see online and on social media, very few people arrive at university with everything completely figured out. Feelings of anxiety and unease are natural, but the good news? University isn’t a place where you’re expected to have all the answers; it’s a chance for discovery and to approach the next chapter of your life with a blank slate.
