Mo Salah and Fabio Carvalho scored in the first half to secure a 2-1 win for Liverpool against Arsenal on Wednesday in a pre-season friendly played at the home stadium of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles.

Liverpool's Egypt international Salah opened the scoring in the 13th minute, latching onto a defence-splitting pass from Harvey Elliott and outpacing the Arsenal defenders. He shrugged off the attentions of Arsenal centre-back Gabriel and fired a low left-footed shot past Arsenal goalkeeper Karl Hein.
