NEW DELHI: As Delhi’s peak power demand scorched the record books once again on Friday and clocked an all-time high for April at 6,197 MW, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said there was an urgent need to take concrete measures to deal with the huge problem of electricity across the country.
“Till now, we have been able to manage somehow. The situation is very serious all over India. We will all have to find a solution together to this problem soon. There is an urgent need to take concrete steps to deal with this problem,” Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi on Friday.
