TRICHY: Tangedco has announced a major power shutdown covering most parts of Trichy city and a few areas of the suburbs on Tuesday (August 8) to take up the periodical maintenance works in three substations including Main guard gate, Kambarasampettai, and E B road.
City and suburban localities including Karur bypass road, Old Karur road, VN Nagar, Poosari street, Chathiram bus stand, St Joseph’s College, Chinthamani, Andar streets, Nandhikoil street, Singarathope, Salai road, Fort station road, Woraiyur housing unit, Kura street, Takkar road, Linga Nagar, Maruthandakurichi, Devathanam, Sankaran Pillai road, Sanjeevi Nagar, Sarkarpalayam, Panayakurichi, Ariyamangalam, Mutharasanallur, Jeeyapuram, Corporation’s drinking water wells on Cauvery, Gandhi Market, Krishnapuram road, Chinnakadai street, NSB road, Super Bazaar, Big Bazaar street, Rockfort, Babu road, Town railway station, Viswas Nagar, Butter worth road, E B Road, Maduram ground, Lakshmipuram, Ukkadai, will face a power shutdown between 9.45 am and 4 pm on Tuesday.
