Poundland shoppers praise 'amazing' £1.50 Ben & Jerry's ice cream offer

Poundland shoppers are rushing out to buy an "amazing" flavour of Ben & Jerry's ice cream that is available for just £1.50.

The bargain giant is currently selling Ben & Jerry’s Minter Wonderland £2.50 less than its usual retail price of £4. The ice cream is mint flavour and contains chocolate chips.

For those looking to cool down amid the warm temperatures, the wintery flavour may be just what they're looking for. The minty flavour is sure to help you cool down on even the hottest of days.

The product description reads: "Ben & Jerry's mint ice cream with chocolatey chunks. There’s nothing cooler and more refreshing than mint and chocolate — no matter the season!

"Ben & Jerry’s Minter Wonderland ice cream is the perfect treat for cuddling up next to the fire and thinking about all your exciting winter plans. Every scoop is chock-full of tingly, minty freshness studded with chocolatey chunks that know it’s hip to be cool.

"Minter Wonderland is a flavour that plays it colder than ice — a peppermint that knows it has panache, especially since it hangs out with all of those great-looking chocolatey chunks. One thing this minty-fresh flavour doesn’t do is turn a cold shoulder to a spoon in need of a scoop."

The shopper who spotted the product was quick to share the news with others online. Writing on Facebook, they said: "Ben & Jerrys Minter Wonderland spotted at Poundland for £1.50!"

The post has since received almost 600 likes and over 350 comments. Poundland and Ben & Jerry's fans alike were quick to share their thoughts.

One said: "This is amazing got some from my local Farmfoods, it was amazing went back to get more it's that nice".

"Better stock up while I can," a second revealed.

"This is my fav," shared a third, while a fourth echoed: "Ooooooh my fave".

Not everyone was a fan of the minty flavour, however, with one user commenting: "It tastes like toothpaste".
