Yellow penises have been painted around potholes on a busy road in a bid to get the local authority to repair the surface. Several yellow drawings appeared around the potholes in Stroud.
Councillor Robin Layfield says he doesn’t condone people taking such action, but believes it does highlight the urgent need for action from Gloucestershire County Council to fix the road, reports GloucestershireLive.
He said he has been contacted by a resident who has had three tyre punctures caused by potholes in as many months. "This demonstrates just how bad the road conditions have become," Cllr Layfield said.
