The size tag is the first lie
The kurta you wore at seven months fits differently at seven weeks postpartum than it did before pregnancy, and neither version is the correct one. Your ribcage may have permanently widened by two to three centimetres, a structural shift that happens to most women who carry a pregnancy to term, regardless of how much weight they gained or lost. Your hips may have settled at a different angle. The muscles of your abdomen, separated by a growing uterus in a process called diastasis recti, are still finding their way back to each other. None of this is temporary failure. It is anatomy.
