Ministers were holding crunch talks on Tuesday with judges on how to fast track clearing hundreds of sub-postmasters and postmistresses from wrongful convictions under the Horizon scandal.

Work and Pension Secretary Mel Stride told of the discussions with senior members of the judiciary as the Government considers an Act of Parliament to clear the Horizon victims.
