Post Malone has added to his inkings by getting a new face tattoo.
The musician, 27, is well known for his markings and added another piece of art to his collection over the weekend as he paid tribute to his baby daughter.
Post, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, added a set of initials in gothic type font to his forehead before his tattoo artist shared the design on Instagram.
TMZ reports the letters - DDP - are the initials of the star's daughter, whom he welcomed to the world earlier this year. He is yet to announce the tot's name, however.
Tattooist Chad Rowe uploaded a close-up snap of his latest work to his social media page alongside the caption: "It’s been a few years since @postmalone and I have been able to link up.so when he was in town , we had to make it happen. It really doesn’t ever feel real. And for the trust of such and important tattoo is a huge honor."
He continued: "Thanks for being such an amazing person, artist, and friend, Austin. I’m so blessed to not just have a “once in a lifetime “ opportunity , but to have a lifetime of opportunities . And to share it with my favorite people."
The artist ended by thanking Post and everyone connected to him.
Fans were quick to praise the work, with one commenting on the post that it was "legendary". Another gushed: "This is so cute. You're also a great artist. Your tattos [sic] are amazing."
The new tattoo comes after the American rapper was rushed to hospital suffering with a "stabbing pain" a week after he had fallen and injured himself during a concert.
At the gig, the musician returned to the stage after a 15-minute disappearance as he received treatment.
However, it transpired his condition had worsened and he was then forced to cancel a Boston concert as he ended up in hospital instead.
He shared the worrying news in an Instagram statement, writing: "Boston, I love y’all so f**king much.
"On tour, I usually wake up around 4 o’clock PM, and today I woke up to a cracking sound on the right side of my body. I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different than it has before."
He continued to say: "I’m having a very difficult time breathing, and there’s like a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move. We’re in the hospital now, but with this pain, I can’t do the show tonight.
"I’m so f**king sorry. Everyone’s tickets for tonight’s show will be valid for the reschedule that we’re planning right now. Once again, I’m so f**king sorry, I love y’all so much. I feel terrible, but I promise I’m going to make this up to you. I love you Boston, I’ll see you soon. I’m so sorry. Love, Austy."
