During AMC's recent TCA press event, fans of The Walking Dead spinoff series The Ones Who Live were treated to some exciting teasers about the possibilities for a second season. Showrunner Scott M. Gimple revealed that even if Andrew Lincoln's jokes about Rick dying in the finale were to come true, there is still hope for the show's future.
Gimple expressed, 'I would say... anything is possible. Even if Rick dies in the last episode, anything is possible.' While it might be concerning for loyal viewers to hear such statements, Gimple assured everyone that the team is fully focused on the current season. He further explained, 'This one came together in a really amazing way where there were all sorts of plans and the world changed. We altered those plans, and we wound up with something we really like.'
